For years we have been saying that we are proud to be your local community bank. But what does that mean?

First, let’s talk “local.” Hundreds of local citizens own Peoples Bank and elect a local board of directors. Our senior management team, our officers, our managers and our employees are all local folks. So if you call us, you will talk to your local hometown office. If you stop into one of our four area locations, the decision on your loan or request will be made right here just minutes from your home.

Next is “community.” We feel privileged to be part of the awesome communities which we serve. We take giving back to our local community very seriously. In fact, in 2011 alone we donated tens of thousands of dollars to area non-profits and our employees spent nearly 4,000 volunteer hours giving back to the communities we serve.

Third, as a bank, we accept deposits from our local residents and businesses and invest that money right back into our community via loans for small business, mortgages, industry and more. Your deposits are not invested on far away places, simply reinvested right here at home. And on top of all that, we deliver good, old-fashioned customer service and a solid work ethic. Our products are tailored to meet the specific needs of area residents, homeowners, retailers, businesses, non-profit organizations, seniors and children.
